Nicki grew up in Bedford County and graduated from Bedford High School. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training and Exercise Science from Indiana University of Pa in August of 2005. She has employed by ProCare since here graduation. She provides all the athletic training services for the Bedford School District including Bedford High School and Hyndman High School. Nicki also assists the physical therapist at the ProCare clinic in Bedford.
Nicki’s job at the high school is to provide care of any athletic injuries that occur from the junior high level up to the high school level. Nicki performs the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of any sports related injury at the high schools. Nicki strives to have daily communication with the team physician and the physical therapists at ProCare so that the injured athletes receive the fastest treatment. Nicki’s goal at the schools is to get the injured athletes healthy again as fast as possible so that they may return to the remains of their sport season.
Nicki married her husband Ben in 2006. Ben is a 1st lieutenant in the Army National Guard and also a substitute teacher when not on orders. Nicki and Ben currently reside in Bedford with their beautiful Golden Retriever, Gerdi.
