He graduated from Tyrone High in 1984. He first attended Slippery Rock until 1986 and then Penn State Mount Alto to obtain his degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant graduating in 1990. This proves that anyone with a handicap (Rich has CP) can obtain whatever he puts his mind to.
Rich has been employed at Mercy Hospital as well as Tyrone Hospital before an injury sidelined him. He has returned to work part time and is truly a fun guy to work with.
He and his wife Jolene have two children, Seth and Paige. In his spare time, Rich enjoys taxidermy.
